In the measures of Iranian medicine, the correct patterns of health and healthy life are expressed in six axes, which are called the six principles or the essential set. In a more comprehensive sense, in order to maintain health, there are six essential principles, which include 1- Use of clean weather 2- Use of healthy foods and drinks suitable for people’s temperament 3- Regular exercise 4- Adequate and appropriate sleep 5- Excretion Body waste materials 6 – attention to the health of the soul and spirit. If any of these principles are defective, the body will be far away from health to the same extent, and as a result, most diseases are caused by excesses and not observing the principles of health.
At the same time, the use of medicinal plants was considered an integral part of human life since the beginning of human history. Also, one of the forms of traditional medicine treatment in all human societies is the use of medicinal plants. Medicinal plants have a special value and importance in providing health and health of communities both in terms of treatment and prevention of diseases. The general tendency of societies to use medicines and herbal treatments and natural products in general has been increasing especially in recent years and is closely related to human health. Therefore, medicinal plants are considered safer due to less side effects and better compatibility with the human body.
